Just adding 2 more solar panels see attachment to augment the 12 BX65   65   375 W hrs    1.78A   2.2A   24V   36.7V   52.7   1245x741x27   13Kg   should make the system dance when it is installed

Do you plan on mixing these with the BX65? They look to have vary different Vmp voltages.

Herman,
These are thin film technology and unless you are getting them at some super cheap price then better value may be normal silicon cell panels. Same wattage in physically smaller panels due to higher efficiency. Plus more compatible voltage with your BX55s

I manage to score the panels for nothing as I had helped the local supplier on numerous occasions, I also have a spare MPPT so the plan is to hook the 2 new panels up to it on a separate circuit to one of the banks of batteries as the new CSIG panels like the BX 65 are shade tolerant but have a higher voltage output that the BX 65 Panels.
