Sorry, we forgot to put "coming soon" on the Little SOB ad.
The units are at TUV right now for approval. They are taking their time! This is the first time we have used TUV. We are all hopeful that they see the light and quit trying to make us do things that are nor required in the standard. It is funny, but pretty much every time we send units in to UL. ETL or now TUV, we need to educate them as to what they are to be testing to.
Once they have approved the samples, then we can get the ball rolling on tooling for injection molded enclosures and more production related equipment. We have three pick and place machines in place and dedicated to the SOB project now, but may need more down the road. This project could turn out to be very large quantities.
Do you think you are launching the little SOB soon. Should I stop by at SPI?
