Title: Wbjr stopped working
Post by: carmelo on November 30, 2017, 07:24:36 AM
Good morning. Today, I woke up finding a "No wbjr connected" message on the panel. Also, no blinking light on the wbjr.

I checked all connections and everything looks fine.

Then I power cycled the Classic 150 controller and got the blinking light on the wbjr until the CC finished booting up. As soon as it came up, the wbjr went off.

Apparently, there is something telling Aux2 to go off. I have nothing on Aux1.

Everything was fine until this morning.

Afternoon
Under main menu move right two arrow push to AUX
Enter & see if Aux 2 is set to WB jr
If so you have what I had spring this year .
My WBjr up & stopped .
Replaced with Spare & all's fine now .

Sent  non-working back to Midnite .

Yes. Aux2 is set for WBjr. If I put my voltmeter on Aux2 + and - on CC I am getting weird jumping voltages from 10vdc to 13vdc.

Did you try to hard reset your Classic with VMM ( hold in left and right arrows at power up )  ? That is always a first thing to try to eliminate that as a possibility . Save your settings with Local Status App first since it will set everything back to factory defaults .

OR Write all info down , Charge & times & menus of what was set .
Many don't have apps or phones etc.

This hard reset your Classic with{ VMM } will erase all your tweaks back to day one , when you could just have a bum WB jr as I have had Two (2) same time picked up.

Just did the export registers/VMM/import registers with no luck. The MNGP is still showing --NO-WB-- but the Local App is showing Wbjr info. See the attached screenshot.

There is something wrong either with the wbjr or the Classic 150.

On your screen shot it is not showing any data from the Whizbang because System amps would be where you would see that. Yes it does show that the Aux 2 is set up for it.

You probably would want to open up a ticket with Midnite and let them take it from there .
