I just found that fact out recently, never met him.
Patrick Moore says that car exhaust is good because it creates CO2 and water. Don't forget about CO too.
What about diesel ? Diesel makes me want to puke when I breath it. Gotta be more there than just CO2 and H2O ?
There are a LOT of long haul trucks out there....
I am skeptical of anti global warming myself, even if there is nothing we can do about it.

New diesels use the DEF goop, to cook their catalyst clean every 500 miles or so. I'm not so sure how great that is either.
Old diesels, with good piston rings and clean injectors , only have a little bit of carbon "dust" in the exhaust . Poor fuel burn gives either white or black smoke
