Title: Anyone recognize this protocol?
Post by: openplanet on December 10, 2019, 09:05:01 AM
Gents--Attached is the COMS protocol for my LiFePO4 batteries.  Does this look like MODBUS, CANBUS, some variant thereof, or a totally custom system?  I need to us a Pi or Arduino to read SOC & voltage, and toggle various elements of my system.  Posting this in the Arduino forum as well.  Thank you.
BTW--Can anyone recommend a specific RS485-to-USB adapter that WORKS!?

It doesn't look like either one of those two protocols to me.

@OpenPlanet  I use a USRIOT device with RS485 & RS323 (D sub) ModBus to Ethernet converter.https://www.usriot.com/products/modbus-serial-to-ethernet-converters.html

There are several models to choose from.  but there is another serial to wifi & Ethernet converter.
