Title: WBJ Help
Post by: joncru16 on August 20, 2020, 03:02:52 PM
Hi fellow brothers of the sun  :D , Recently I installed a Whizbang JR with a shunt to my system, Im using a Classic 150 with 8 235w, to a battery bank with 480AH 24V. The inverter is a Schneider 4024. The problem I’m facing is that the whizbang jr never says its charging or maybe I’m reading it wrong. All the reading amps are always on negative even when charging. It been like this since I installed. The SOC goes to 100% just because I set up the config that it reset when it goes to Float, am I missing something or this is a normal behavior ?

Hello there Sun-Bro !   :)      I Kinda like that !

Has it always done this negative thing ?   If so, make sure the purple WBJ wire is pointed to the battery negative terminal.

I would show backwards if done the opposite way.

Yes it is, I installed it following the Installation Instruction. Also the purple cable should be on the positive port of the Aux 2 right ? and yeah always been on negative
