Title: Trinity solar panels
Post by: Weldman on March 13, 2021, 09:02:09 AM
Anyone ever heard of Trinity solar panels and know of anywhere I can information on them? Seems someone wants to sell me 22 of them they are 400W bifacial panels and looking for information on the gain albedo wattage they can go up to. Seems to be something to tie into the new Hawkes Bay when it gets worked out

Yeah I don't see any specs and when I called them up they acted lost like it wasn't something they never had. Seem like a solar installer more than a producer.

oh that is too bad.
Maybe those PV were rebranded for them.
Don't they have a rating sticker on them ?

Nope haven't seen them in person yet, though the guy who wants to sell them said that they are Tritons not Trinity. So I searched Triton and came up with dead end too in NJ, so guess I will call them on Monday.

So have you heard of Tritons?

Well I can get that info (once he gets back from some vacation) just was curious on the albedo gains they get which aren't posted on the sticker. I will call Triton tomorrow, just was seeing if anyone ran with them or had experience with them.

Okay they are Trina solar panels, and they are mixture of 395's 400's & 405's all same age same array and same size for price of $120 a piece. Going to order 24 of them with having 2 of them for spares for just in case. Yes I know it will drag the amperage down to 395 wattage panels but it's within two tenths of an amp to 3 tenths at max.
Selling me 24 of them for the price of 23, not a bad deal for bifacial panels.
