I want to add a battery temp sensor to my standard kid controller. Do I have to use the MNBTS cable sold by midnite solar or will other brand BTS cables work? Reason for asking is that the MNBTS is only 15 ft and I need a slightly longer cable in order to reach my battery bank.
You could use other brands IF they are 10K in resistance, I would suggest using the Midnite MNBTS and a phone extension cable.
