AFAIK all arm A10 based baords have RTCs.  If its like the cubie it has no battery, but you can keep the clock current with ntp as you would on any server.

I know rPi has big community support and is well estabished but mele / beagle / Cubieboard as an example has 1Gb RAM 4GB on board flash, and best of all sata.
With the simple addtion of a 2.5" ssd, notably the samsung 840 series which have 40mW idle draw, you have fairly capable debian server that draws around 1 or 2 watts. That to me is a game changer.

Yes, it's been running at my off grid cabin for several months now, I don't have access to the internet there which is why I need an RTC.
