Hello All:

Does anybody know of a commercially available 100A inverter bypass switch?

I have a user who would like to use a Magnum MS4448PAE when demand is low at his off grid home.  The prime power source is a 25 kW diesel genset.  The MS would be mounted on MNE250-240 E-Panel.  We never anticipate 100A of load, but of course the inverter's transfer relays are only 30A and the E-Panels bypass switch is limited to the same.

Thank You

What I would do is install an automated 100 amp transfer switch. So any time the generator runs it connects the output of the generator to the load center. This would ensure anytime the generator is started all 25KW is available at the laod center.

Your electric supply house should have such a beast. Of course you could use a manual transfer switch to but then the customer needs to remember to switch it before running big loads.
