How loud is clipper?

I am using a kestrel voltage limiter with a kestrel 1000 watt turbine.
It does not seem too loud to me.
Even with the breaker to the classic turned off and it taking the full 1000 watts.
Don't get me wrong it does make some noise, with the 3, 5" or so fans.
