How important is getting the exact torque on the breaker wire lugs? I just screwed then down tight.

Alaska ,

Many of us lack the correct Torque Drivers.

Suggest,  that without the correct driver,  that you torque all of these connections TIGHT,  and then let them rest over-night or for a couple of days,  and torque them tight, again.

Do NOT use finely stranded cable on any breaker lugs.  19,  or 7 strand cable is fine.

Opinion,  YMMV.   Good Luck,    Vic

Thanks.

The local solar guy gave me these end caps to go over the stranded wire ends, but they were to big to fit into the lugs. So I nixed those too. The wire barely fits, 12 volt system.
