Bringing back the Garage Sale
« on: February 07, 2015, 01:51:29 PM »
So after inventory this year we decided we better bring back the yard sale. I will be posting periodic stuff up here for sale. This will be either scratch and dent stuff or items that never made it onto the products page. It may be something left over from engineering or what have you.

not sure I understand the question? The garage sale is open to ANY one that wants to buy. The price is LESS shipping so emailing garagesale@midnitesolar.com with the item wanted, address and phone # and they can get you a shipping quote

I live in Cambodia, but would just have them ship to an address stateside. Then, I would get it when I return to the US, or have it shipped to me here.

Nothing, actually. I'm sorry, brother. I was just replying to let ckd_snitch know how I deal with various shipments originating in North America.

Ahh, I see now from a re-read.
I am down again in the Arlington in Dec . to shop & drop off the xmas to the WA household. I'll be dropping into see Craig (Trace repair  gent) picking up a few 24V panels for the new ranch toy "Ellie" and such .
If I remember correctly ,you have a Oregon  stateside addy !!

Also on that note of helping & stuff , Mr Day , Could you send me a refresher e-mail or PM of what your looking for again ? And send links & as much info as possible , because there is SO MUCH stuff that is made .
I have been down a few times but missed a connection on some of robins sale items , Either i had stuff to drop & pick up with Craig /trace  or farm/ranch stuff & that is not anywhere close to the RE crowd .

Yep. I was in hopes of getting up to Midnite about the time you were there last winter, IIRC?

A buddy of mine actually owns a vineyard there. He asked me to go baby sit it last winter while he and his wife were in Cebu for the same time period. First time I had been stateside in 15 years. I may be back next winter, as well.

Sounds like a good (tentative) plan. Will know by August (2016), for sure.

MN,
Are there any garage sale items available?
I’m interested in KID, older pcb version, but any would be good
Classic 150, any version, esp lite or SL
Classic 250
Classic 250KS

Also a completely fried Classic as I just need the cast alloy case, front and base to replace a crushed
Classic where the electronics appear to have survived, just the case and mngp were broken

Classic 250, 150,  20 140w, 6 250w PVs, 2Kw turbine, MN ac Clipper, Epanel/MNdc, Trace SW3024E (1997), Century 1050Ah 24V FLA (1999). Arduino power monitoring and web server.  Off grid since 4/2000

I also have a crushed Classic needing the front die cast cover and missing MNGP...the plastic air plenum is gone from the right hand side as well.

Bench test shows still operates as expected.

Would like to make it complete, any chance to buy missing pieces?
