Just got my MyMidNite up and running last night

This morning I was comparing the output from both and noticed some variations in the data...??

Since this data is generated from the same shunt and ?? etc. should they not be exactly the same?

I realize there may be a difference in the refresh rates and as far as I can tell it is not that...

You have two Shunts ? "Since this data is generated from the same shunts etc. "

We don't know the system of wiring or if you using two shunts in Series .
I to have had my clamp on Amp  meter and was crazy looking for the lost amps that were over / under reported.

I came away with well it was a close reading of what I never had before , and even my pico scopes to the fluke amp clamps all read " Close" . Hard wired they are all spot on .

Fudge Factor ??

OOPS, my bad, I was meaning the 2 shunt based measurements... reg A  and WBjr A and the voltage.... I expected them both to be pretty close but so far they are not..I'll continue  watching.
corrected original...

Im building an "Ellie" and I have 3 shunts  in series as for what I need to monitor .
One for drive , drive recharge decell braking,, Main 500/WBJr  for the batterys and the KID , and the draw for the inverter .
Series split into parallel y after the WBJr.

The hard one is having "Ellie" rob / share panels that are in float 2 hrs in winter & Ellie is parked in the garden barn , and the barn has it's own system . one week & i have it almost set & figured ..
Then I will do a entire change into a all new system that has been in test over a year.

'Ellie' meaning electric vehicle or EV of some sort, I assume?
Can't figure out the use of three shunts in series or what this means
Series split into parallel y aver the WBJr

However, parking an EV in garage/shed which has pv based RE system installed, then using excess power from that system to charge EV, looks interesting.
I have seen a similar setup where the EV is a home-built based on 94 VW Golf, 96volt drive bank, mains recharger etc.  Owner parks in barn which has 4kw pv system for home power. Wanted to use excess power to charge EV.
Last time I spoke to him he had cheap inverter switched on for several hours after float reached. All done by a complicated (IMO) setup of relays and MS MPPT60 controlling them.
Since he had access to some 120V inverters (DC in and 230AC out) he was interested in a Midnite Classic 250KS
and changing home power bank to 120v, EV to 120V (apparently siemens motor would be ok).
There was a plan to switch a bank of pvs between the MS and the CL250ks, I assumed he wanted the ks to charge the EV bank.

Would be interested in the design of your charging setup

DGD.
As soon as I have this all figured and no fuses popping ( I protect to the MAX due to , not the norm etc. )
This is a 48Vdc extended Golf Cart

All batterys & tires , So I added panels & a KID and a huge inverter 4048 type for huge mobile power on the ranch .
During the winter , it will be in the garden barn that has a 24Vdc 2524 inverter system with panels .
So the Barn has no real  load during the winter .

The barn DC system is to keep all the 12vdc batterys up on the tractors / lawn tractors / 8 machines .
in the spring the garden barn runs the bird barn incubator & the brooder then picks up the swimming pool & chlorine   generator  ..

So I have panels just not putting out but can harvest , Ellie is under cover because winter is harsh/wet/messy .

Shunts in a Y are for me to see who uses what  , WBjr is only for the kid & in general .
I need to know the amps sucked to drive  to the back  field  for the mobile fertilizers & weld a new hinge on !! 48Vdc to shunt /breaker /to inverter /fuse /welder & Mig weld the fence.

VT,

thanks for the vehicle info, I like it, as you say all wheels and batteries people or freight mover  :)
I understand the Y config now of shunts, the bottom of the Y is the Deltec 500 with WBjr to KID and each of the Y branch shunts for drive charge and regen braking.
So what are the Y shunts? more Deltec 200 or 100A types? Is there electronics in the vehicle that uses these to measure currents.
Anyway, it will be good to read about your setup once you have it done.

I  used e-bay for a few units  that I installed in the dash of the club-car.

Deltec 500 then  splits to one of these , I'll see if I can link
