Sure looks like what ever it uses to authenticate you Classic on the web site is the problem.

Seem to me when I changed that control board I ended up with a different MAC or Device ID from what I had before and I had to get Andrew to included it in his database. The lists of devices on the web site was not automatic back when I used it. Especially with RMAs and it would take a long time to get added unless Andrew intervened. But I'm only guessing because I don't have a clue as to what is going on other that it doesn't like you log on credentials what ever they are. Could be using S/N.

BTW does the MNGP show the SN? I can't remember if it does or not. My documentation of the Classic Menus shows SN listed under the NET MENU so you might see what is showing there if my document is correct since I have no Classic MNGP to look at.  Seem like a strange location for it.

thanks for that info John, however it is not there.  That is where the  MAC attack and the coded name for your unit show , under NET...
The odd number CL27501 crops up on the last page of pushing the little round butt on on the left  It is Cl 27501, its the page with the MNGP and FW versions showing...???? don't know how that is used   ???  maybe as you said...

What is strange is that   MM2   accepted my Mac and coded  Name (SN) but it did NOT accept the stock name of' Classic'.  I hope Andrew comes back with a solution tonight..

So Andrew, to swage your curiosity I did do another FW this afternoon and here id the Wireshark  sniff... NO change, actually worse than the old board...as at least it didn't get told to bog off on the first try...

Looks like your device is not in the database.
This is pretty normal if it's an RMA since those come straight off the assembly line. The MAC and the device ID follow the control board as they live on the processor.

email me using the contact form on mymidnite2 and I'll get it put in.

Looks like Andrew is going to fix you up with MM.

I still don't understand why the other SN is showing up.  Maybe I should check mine out next trip to see if I show two different ones. I don't think so but you never know what I might have missed.

Ryan, Andrew, John I had a strange incident this morning, I tried the local app , restarted it 3 x,  and it was unable to connect.  I went down to the CC and checked a few settings, hit ENTER once or twice to change some 'wrong' settings, it appeared (on the MNGP) not to have retained after  a Midnite Reset.

When I started the L App it connected right off...

I am wondering if this is part of this issue.  The MNGP did not show the proper Absorb time, battery capacity. sweep interval   ??

Battery Capacity always reset with the VMM.

Do you change the sweep time from the default 3 min?

Absorb time I have had issues with when its change is actually effective.  In other words if the time is 2 hrs and i change it to 3 hrs and look at the time remaining the time remaining is still counting down from the 2hr . It eventually corrects itself by the next day but my experience is that the actual timer take some about of time to adjust to the Absorb time.

Did you use the LA to reload your settings. I've never used it so don't know what it's effects are.

Drat, I knew I should have added a reference to what it was last night when I shut down at 22:00 or so, I was hoping Andrew was on line early...

Hi John,

All VMM-ing happened the night before I made the quoted post...   :-[

Yes I use a 2 minute sweep due to shadowing.

My normal Absorb time  over the winter is 4 hrs to ensure it does not go into Float... I'm not worried about 1 day at 2 hrs but the following has to be 4 hrs...

Yup, I use the LA and am very happy with how easy it is to make adjustments.  some as you know require a follow up VMM...

Same problem with what ?  The old MyMidnite site was shut down so you need to have the latest firmware and change the IP address in the Network section to the proper one for the MyMidnite new site - in case you haven't done that. Instructions should be on the MyMidnite page on Midnite site.

yeah there was some confusion on the mymidnite 1, 2 , 3  . Original was 1 then there was a beta 2 and beta 3 but then newest MyMidnite was called MyMidnite 2 which is what is now available.  Setting the auto reset at midnite helps keep  from loosing it and having to restart Classic to get it back.   As far as the browser refreshing it automatically , I think it used to do that but now seems like I just have to hit the refresh button on the browser to see updated data.

Make sure you have the clock set to correct time on Classic .
