Just received my MidNite Solar charge controller, the 150 model.  Awesome looking and I can't wait to put it into service.  A couple of questions if I could: In the package was a sheet of paper explaining this is one of the first off production units and has some up and coming features, will this unit require an update and how can I determine update requirements before I put the unit into service.  I just want to be ready before commission.  Thank you

The upgrades are all firmware related. They will be a simple upgrade from a pc. The controller is fully functional out of the box we just have more features yet to come like Snow melt, Boost mode and wind learn to list a few. One of the beauty's of this machine is the ability to add features as they are thought of or asked for.

Thank you very much for your reply.  I was just afraid that I would need to send it in or do the aux 1 relay change over setup and thought I'd just go ahead and get the scoop now and be prepared.
