I posted last night but it appears to have been lost...

Is there a wire sizing tool here or on the midnite site to determine the correct wire size to my new array?

I really like this spreadsheet,

  made for solar/RE

Be sure you read note #9 at the bottom, to use the total wire length

Go to the home page on the Midnite Solar website. Scroll down to the Classic. Right below it you will find the link to this simulation of the Wizard. The Wizard is built into the Classic. This link is a web version of the classic Wizard. The web version isn't perfect, but it is close.

I have a pair of GVFX-3648,s. After I purchased them I was told I could not use them to charge my batteries with my generator. I never did not understand their reasons. Has been been remedied yet. Is their a way to do it.

Tallgirl any ideas?

The Grid tied outbacks would not sync to to many generators do to the narrow voltage and frequency specs. You will most likely need a separate battery charger or another inverter to charge the battery from the generator.

Thanks. That's what I had to do. Was wondering if anything had changed on that front.
