Buffer Data to avoid lost data

The resent website outage and resultant data loss reminded me of a feature I have been wanting.  Buffer Data  at the controller until the server is reachable and acknowledges the transfer.  This would allow recovery after the server or network has been down.

Data back filling would be an awesome idea. Enphase and Outback (as well as others I am sure) do this, Enphase pushes data If the micro doesn't talk to the gateway or cloud for a while it will back fill all the missing data. I suspect Andrew is to busy to add this but lets rattle him
