Does anyone know if you can swap out the existing shunt in the E-Panel for the Schneider SW4024 inverter?  I'm wanting to use one of several ammeters available on E-Bay or Amazon, but they wall want a 75mV shunt. I'm sure the existing 500V/50mV shunt will not give me correct readings. I'm away from the E-Panel right now, but wondered if anyone has swapped out the shunt for another one.

Thanks in advance!

I think a search for ' Shunt'  here might give you an answer, there was a (similar?) discussion about how to use a different shunt ....  maybe by boB???

Well, I did search before I posted, but I'll admit I only read the short snips that the search gave me and didn't go any further.

Thanks. I'll go look more closely.

Well, nothing quite fits, bit it doesn't matter that much.  I guess I can mount another shunt in series and call it good.

Hello Horsefly,  welcome to the Forum.

A 75 mV Shunt is not common  --  50 mV and 100 mV ARE common values for Shunts.

Does the supplier of the Ammeter that you are looking at on e-bay, offer Shunts with appropriate ranges for your needs,   that would be compatible with their Ammeters?

Do you know if the Ammeters that you are thinking of using have some adjustable Scale Factor?   This  scale adjustment might allow the use of a 50 mV or 100 mV Shunt.
