Constant Voltage Power Supply to KID (instead of PV panels)

Greetings y'all!

The KID's manual states that it is possible to connect a constant voltage power supply to the KID when MPPT mode is set to U-SET. I've read through a few resources online regarding this topic but they were not really detailed. I was wondering if the folks at MidNite/anyone here who has ever connected a CV source to the KID can shed some light on:

1. How to determine the U-SET %VOC?
2. How to select the power supply? I'm planning on getting an AC-DC converter that can allow paralleling 2 KIDs to charge a 24v Li-Ion pack with 60A.
     - Is a 28v supply enough? or 36v/48v/54v? 1500W/1800W/2000W?
     - Are there recommended brands?

Thanks!

I have been using my Kid in Solar mode 24v input from other PV system to charge 12v battery system. Seems to work fine for that.
I hadn't paid attention to that other mode and couldn't find much more info in the manual either.
Probably worth giving Midnite a call or email to get more details. If you do let us know what you found out.
