Tell us where each of these components are to be located....  How far apart and where are the batteries in relation to the rest??
Oh , why 2 60A CBs? and is it one or 2 strings?

Panel side and battery side breakers on the C150?

Just my first thought.

Do NOT mistake me for any kind of "expert".

24 Trina 310 watt modules, SMA SunnyBoy 7.7 KW Grid Tie inverter.

I thought that they were angels, but much to my surprise, We climbed aboard their starship and headed for the skies

...  Mine too.... but I suspect he would need a 125A min for the batt to Inverter/CC based on proposed loads, and for PV he would need 10 or 15A per string for ease of disconnect , even though  not needed by CODE  if only 1 or 2 strings... and 60A for the Classic..

So, does this look like a decent startup build? And am I missing anything crucial? (wiring, cabinet fittings, batteries, etc not listed)

Aims 1500 Watt pure sine inverter                                      $279.00   1   $279.00
Canadian Solar 320 Watt Poly Solar Panel                      $185.97   4   $743.88
100 Foot Black & Red 10 Gauge MC4 cbls                        $84.99   1        $84.99
Midnite Solar Battery Capacity Meter, Model# MNBCM        $63.00   1     $63.00
150vdc breaker 60 amp                                                        $20.00   2     $40.00
combiner box - Midnite Solar MNPV2-MC4                      $149.00   1   $149.00
charge controller - Midnite Solar Classic 150                      $568.00   1   $568.00
TOTAL                                                     $1,927.87

That would be an incredible deal on the PV  - you sure that is the price of a 320 watt panel ? That is only 58 cents per watt.
You don't need that Midnite Solar Capacity meter you listed. You need a Whizbang Jr and a shunt
https://www.solar-electric.com/midnite-solar-whiz-bang-jr-current-sense-module.html
https://www.solar-electric.com/mkb-500-50.html
These will let your Classic tell you the state of charge and do some other features too in controlling loads and charge termination .

This is the combiner box I would get - plenty of room for future expansion if you want to do it . And as others have said you need 15 amp breakers for each string
https://www.solar-electric.com/mnpv6.html
https://www.solar-electric.com/mnepv.html

These are the boxes I recommend for mounting your Classic on and you can get the one that has  the correct size breaker for your inverter ( you will have to check on what your inverter calls for ) . It will be worth the price in the wiring hassles it would save you and has the mounting spots for shunt . Also has the slots to put in the breakers you need - one from PV and one for Battery and then has room for others for DC line if you want another output .

Depending on how you wire between your combiner box and Classic / Mini DC box you would probably use conduit from combiner to MiniDC and use regular wire in it . For the connections between PV and combiner box you can get a piece of PV outdoor rated wire and just get the connectors you need to match your panels and put them on . Since you would be adding on in the future might as well learn how to make up the cables yourself .

Use these at bottom of combiner box to stick PV  wire through for sealed connection .

This is what I have used in the past and recommend.

Look up the wiring schematic for the Mini DC box on the Midnite site and you will see how the wiring goes . Ignore the dotted box on the schematic that says GFI since you probably don't need that .
