MidNite Classic
« on: April 25, 2017, 01:48:21 AM »
Hi Guys

I am about to get a second hand MidNite (2) Classic well actually brand new which I have thinking about setting up as follow me with the MidNite (1) that goes to my 48 VDC NiFe bank. Would allow me to use two different types of solar panels  as i have 10 of the same to (1) and will have 12 of the same to (2) and with it setup as follow me  this would also increase my power pumping into th NiFe cells.

The reasoning behind this would be to get enough charge into my cells before loss of sunlight

Herman,

You are on the right track ......but.....if you move this post to "Classic Charge controller" you will get many more reads and posts. The more details you post the more responses that you will receive.
List the types of panels for each charge controller etc, a.h. of battery etc.,  My understanding and use of follow me is exactly for what you describe.
