Shorted Whiz bang Jr?

Uh oh! An errant negative wire touched a live positive wire from another 12V source and now my Kid display is flashing wildly and shows Bad firmware update Bootlegger .... I can only get the screen to display when I press the setup soft key. None of the other keys work.

I now don't see a flashing light in the WB Jr.

Any thoughts? Dead WB Jr it looks like... I thought I had all breakers off but obviously I missed one:(

That's going to be a call to tech support. Probably will need a new Whizbang but possibly not. The angry Kid is the bigger issue. Any of our techs will be glad to help you out in figuring out your next step with the Kid.

I'll disconnect the WB Jr first and run the Kid like it used to be and see what it display. Thanks, I'll call soon afterwards.

Good news is that when the WB Jr was removed, the Kid was charging and doing all I asked it to do but just can't read the display as well. Seems to be little PV panels covering each digital letter/number in the display. Per Jim, it's heading back as soon as I  get the RA from MS. Won't do that again...
