How do I change the local app to show me Fahrenheit instead of Celsius?

That feature is not an option, as I understand it.

Yeah no option on the MNGP or the Local Status app ..... but  you can do it on Grahams Classic Android App which has lots of other virtues as well .

no there is no setting to change it in the LA
(it is ok for us European users - but I wonder why this is not existing)
and I don't remember that I have read in the classic manual about to change it

I think in some past version of the Classic firmware you did have the ability to change C to F on MNGP but if I remember correctly the F was dropped because it was kind of a pain for the support staff and maybe programmers to have two different temperatures when helping diagnose problems when they weren't sure if C or F was being used. Just having one temperature eliminated confusion for everyone.

Canada & USA

Up here they BS the price & sell 1.49/lb but bill in KG's so you have no idea . Down there they sell $/lb but it's more than we pay in canada .

Im old & just had to do math long hand since No one had a calculator,, 3 folks  said to me , what are you doing & one went for a  calculator to make sure I was wrong !! 1950's taught !!

Here in Canada we have had the metric system since 1979, i know most measurements in both systems besides for pressure im still use to p.s.i. , i worked in automotive for 35 years and since most cars back then were usa built ( or north american ) there were a mix of both measurments ,

Here is a quick ( not precise) way to convert celcius to f,( i will use room temp so 20 c ) take 20 double it minus first didit plus 32 = temp f , so 20 x2 =40 -4=36+32=68f

Tell me I'm not Canadian...I drive in Kilometers/hr, but Toronto is still "100 miles" away.  I measure stuff by the kilogram, but I still weigh 170 pounds.  My height is 5feet 8inches, no idea how tall I am in metric .  I try not to pollute my grandson with my imperial hangovers.

We use the metric system for money - isn't that a start ? Baby steps .

i was writing this because carter wanted to change over to metrics. then regan cancelled it. i suppose it is possible he thought it might have had something to do with winning the cold war. (at least carter initialled committee   looking into it)
i think there are only 3 countries left with imperial system, the other two are very tiny, can't remember which they are.
