My system has been operating like a champ for quite a while but now there's a glitch.  The master classic on the follow me is not operating correctly.  Yesterday it would not come out of the absorb cycle even when I changed the Abs Time to 3 minutes.  It would float for a moment and then go right back to absorb.  The "slave" classic is not following!  It is doing what is programmed into it.  The master classic showed no Kw today.  The battery voltage shown seems to be erratic, as well.  One minute it will show 28.7 and then it will jump to 31.5.  The voltage meter reading is 28.7.

My first thought was to contact Midnite Solar technical but I thought I would put a brief synopsis here to see if there is something that I may be able to do.  I have shut down the "master" and turned it back on but not re-booted.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

What is the current version of FW you are running?

Were all your connections retorqued this year?

The mystery continues.

FW  is 2056  8/17/2015

I have checked the connections and they are all tight.  It appears the problem is within the absorb cycle.  This morning, both units were functioning as purposed.  The battery % per Whizbang, Jr was 90 so it wasn't going to take much to get them refreshed, so to speak.  At about noon, I noticed that the float lights were on at both CL150 units and I was thrilled!  The master unit had not gone into float very readily.

At about 5 pm, I was checking on them again.  The master unit said "resting" with 0 Watts and 0 amps at the moment.  When I checked the Abs Time, it was set for a 17 minute cycle.  I did not program that number into it.

I disabled the follow-me to allow the slave unit to operate on its own and it seems to be functioning correctly.  I will need to look at it during a longer period to see if that is correct.

I had checked the SG last week and the SG in all cells was great...1.285 to 1.29 in all cells.

Thanks for the continued help.  I'll watch tomorrow and post my observations.

First thing to do is update the firmware on your Classics.
I don't use follow me but seems like some bugs were fixed in firmware updates though not sure which .

Wish I could do an update but I don't have wi-fi or a laptop to be able to do that.  I appreciate the suggestion.

Meanwhile, I have disabled the follow me, as I mentioned.  The troublesome classic operates during the morning hours but it does not absorb correctly.  Instead, the unit says it is resting...full sun, etc.  I will check with Midnite solar tech.
