Panel mount MNDC breakers still required for bi-directional DC breakers?

Hi, at one point in time, the DIN rail mount breakers could only be used in one directional DC flow and the panel mount (MNDC style) could be used bi-directionally. (IIRC)

Is this still the case ?

I looked at the data sheet and wasn't completely sure.

If it matters, the application will have 12 and 48 volts and on these particular breakers, only 30 amps max.

Thanks

I remember reading in another post that the Din rail mount breakers must be installed with the correct polarity but the panel type breakers can be wired in any direction even though the sticker on them has one terminal labeled line .
