Now while working on the webpage i wonder why one FET has 30 and the other has 47 °C
Other temps are close the same...
Something wrong with the FET or the Sensor?
Both Classic are Installer side by side.
If the FET would be really 47°C, the heat should increase the temp of PCB and so on?

I See this also in the App (LA and Graham's App on my phone)

Are both Classics working equally as hard ?

Is the input voltage maybe higher on one Classic vs. the other Classic ?

Those things may make them different temperatures of course.

It was paar midnight, both were 'resting'
They both had nothing to work :)

Now on day (we have 3:15 PM in Germany)  I was watching the FET temp., don'
t change a lot.
the Classic1 is changing the temp. but the Classic2 don't.
now I have 49.1 and 42.6 °C
both Classic are on charging.

Will open the cover tonight when the PV is down, look if I can find something blown or also where the sensor is.
Also, if this gives the Classic a to high voltage, is it possible it don't charge all available energy, to protect the FETs?

Or is there a register that could be wrong?

Some pictures of my Classic lite 200 PCB / FETs in hires

follow the links

Only thing I can see, is cracks (at Q6 and Q8)  in the black bar / holder of the FETs
but doesn't look like the problem for me.

Where is the temp sensor?
So I could also meassure this and the sensor of the other classic

below the FETs are some solder points "h11" ?  possible the sensor is behind the PCB?

binkino, what firmware do you have, both the same?

they sometime do get warm when idling so the fan kicks in.

binkino

Both same FW
no fan is active,
also this side with the FET was not warm like over 40°C ((~ 104°F)) or close to 50°C ((~ 122°F)

what is the firmware number (like 2126  ??)

Either way, the temperature isn't high enough to worry about, OR to make the fans come on.

The sensor BTW is on the bottom side of the power board in the middle fairly close to the edge of the board.
