I found a mini b cord at a junk shop so as soon as I can borrow a computer will update the firmware.
Seems to be harvesting in Twin mode just fine as is with 3 year old firmware.
Thanks for the the high voltage input everyone.

Just joined and I have a Kidd but had to buy another after the mice found there way into the controller. Midnite was awesome and fixed the first as only a power transistor had gone bad.  Now I have 2 and am thinking of twinning so I will always have at least one CC working.  As I understand when setting 2 or more Kidds up using the Stacking mode it sets both units to contribute equally from a charging perspective so having different inputs within reason should not matter.  I too will go through this learning later this year when I go "off grid" for a month.  Let us know how your firmware update goes.
