Can Sunny Island through MNSICOMM, control a charging of a BYD B-BOX Pro 13.8?

The instructions with MNSICOMM mention the Sunny Island can control the charging voltage setpoints of the CLASSIC and modes, e.g Absorbtion, float.  Can the Sunny Island control Lithium banks successfully with MNSICOMM?  Anything I need to know?   The island is a 8.0H-12 so the latest version.    The BYD BMS would be CAN connected to the Sunny Island.
