Stopped by MS yesterday and got a good look at the Barcelona inside and out! :)

I got the deluxe kit, it had a solar cell and a meter.

Robin showing Baxter, a MS Engineer, how fast he can remove the cover of a Barcelona!

PV1 and PV2?

That suggests that the Barcelona can handle input from two PV arrays. How closely do they need to be matched?

They don't have to match at all except to be within voltage and power specs.

So,
Dual inputs, dual canbus connectors, at least four fan controllers, two Aux ports, multiple jumpers, arc fault, ground fault, quick disconnect, new interface with new programs, BTS, and that is just what we can see.  Man I can't wait!

Thanks for the previews.
Brian

The one thing is the one thing

Looks very promising.

It even looks like the wire inlet / outlet holes line up with the wire attachment points?

Any chance of using ring lugs as a way to attach wires for mobile applications?

Three questions!

1. How much does it weigh?

2. Where are the power MOSFETs hiding?

3. Will they (the MOSFETs) be field serviceable?

Mike
System one: 7kWp w/ Trina 250 W panels @90 Vdc. Classic 150 to 16-6 V U.S batteries. Trace 5548 sine wave inverter.
System two: 6kWp grid tie with solaredge inverter.
System three: Midnite Brat, two 120 W Astropower modules, 100 Ah battery. Runs the LED streetlight in the back yard.

Don't be silly !

Big inverter demands big tooobs !  4-1000s !!!!

Can you have an inverter with tubes and still be off grid?

Doug, don't you  think you are just a bit  biased !   ;)

Clean your plate, plug your grid leaks and poison the I.F. slugs !
