Hi folks,

I am in the process of converting to Lifepo4 Battery Packs from my current Rolls Surette FLA Bank.
The FLA bank is 856AH @ 20hrs for 428AH/10Kwh @ 24VDC useable which turned out to be a tad short for my needs.
I have already installed 24V/350AH of LFP and am now adding another 560AH for a total of 910AH.

During the process of investigation I came across this company which has an outstanding deal on cells.  Other members within my group have already purchased, received & tested the cells and they are indeed Grade-A and meet specs right on the button.  The sales Representative Amy Wan is outstanding in her commitment to communications and dealing with us customer's, she even goes out of her way to message after hours to connect.   They will also send you photo's with your Name Card on the cells while being tested & packed as well as a video during the cell voltage tests.

4 cells = 12V, 8 cells for 24V, 16 Cells for 48V.

I HAVE NO CONNECTION TO THE COMPANY, I am just a customer and want to share a great find for everyone's benefit.

Company Name is Xuba Electronics.

BMS Suggestions:
I can recommend Chargery BMS which are a good solid BMS system with built in balancer.  They are programable, have a remote for monitoring, programming etc and can have the firmware flash updated as well.   Support is very good and the BMS's have a flexible configurations allowing you to configure as Common Port or Separate Port modes for charging & discharging.  * Chargery also has Cold Temp Disconnect  *

There are other BMS's with various features & functions up to and including BlueTooth, WIfi etc...

I didn't take a very close look at all this yet. The one thing I noticed is that it is only 1C output where a lot of lithium have a much higher discharge capacity.  Guess it doesn't matter if the 1C suits the needs.

This is great information Steve, thanks for posting.

Out of curiosity, do you have any thoughts regarding shipping cost and time?

Out of curiosity, do you have any thoughts regarding shipping cost and time?

I ordered my batch just as Covid was hitting but as I had them Air Freighted they got to me pretty fast.  Each cell was perfect condition and matched balanced voltages.  Amy Wan @ Xuba is Terrific, she has supplied thousands of these cells to our members.  One has even started a pack assembly facility in South Africa and bought over 1,000 cells from them to get it going.

Shipping Costs and Time is listed in the Alibaba page.  The actual cost to "your specific locale" is calculated when you start the order process.  As I am in Canada I qualified to get DPP Duties & Taxes included, this applies to many countries but not all.

NOTE, If you have never bought rom Alibaba before, some Credit Cards are accepted right away while others are not.  They do not do PayPal !  I myself used TTE direct transfer from my bank to theirs which was fine.

Hope that Helps.

Thanks Steve, good to know. I think I may ship door-to-door by sea but I'm not sure yet. Will save on cost but will take time. Will see. Considering getting some 90AH and some 280AH. Both EVE.
