Operating Classic 150

I have not turned classic on yet. Since it has not been set up, what is the proper procedure for turning it on? Will it hurt to run the classic without batteries?

Must have batteries.  Check the manual for startup instructions...connect to battery first, then to dc source.

I could not find the startup procedure in the manual, nor on YouTube. So when they talk about turning the classic off, such as to reboot, what does that actually mean?
