Greetings all. I am just wondering if I have correctly connected my 2 PV arrays to a Classic 150 via 2 x breakers. Attached is a diagram of the connections up to the Classic 150. The diagram explains the equipment involved.
1 x Classic 150; 8 x 100Ah AGM Deep Cycle batteries, 24V 400Ah configuration, Latronics 3000W inverter, 2 strings 3 x 260W Trina panels

The way I do it and most combiner boxes is to have each array positive go to it's own breaker . The two positive breakers feed into a common wire  that goes back to the controller that has another breaker sized for that  wire. The negative  goes direct to controller with no breaker .

So PV one to 15 amp ( or 20 depending on wire size and array)   PV two to another 15 amp . The two positive  breakers feed into 6 gauge wire ( for maximum power input my classic can handle )  . That six gauge goes to 60 amp breaker that feeds the Classic. The two array negatives are tied together in combiner box with 6 gauge and go directly to Classic negative input .
