So I installed a Mnspd300vdc to an 12 array combiner and noticed that as the sun changes sometimes the spd led would sometime illuminate but mostly stays off. What can cause this my only guess is a floating ground. Any other thoughts?

OK guys no need for a reply turns out it is a floating ground issue from a stripped screw thread in array panel. So issue solved when ground conductor from spd was placed on another available ground bus terminal.

In hindsight that is so obvious .....   but that must have been a bear to find?
Thanks for the update.
