Looking to buy some broken inverters
« on: July 28, 2021, 05:01:49 PM »
Well, gang, the title says it all.

I've got a fairly well equipped  electronic test bench and I ran out of broken radios to fix.
So looking for a few dead inverters. To me, it would be a learning experience.

I'd be interested in some of the much older Trace (the large black square looking ones) to the DR series. The SW series are frankly too heavy to ship.

Older Heart would be okay as well. Outback? Sure why not!

Certainly not picky, but not interested in lighting struck equipment either.

And, since it's broke, I'm not  going to pay a lot $$$ for one either

So anyone have a kaput inverter proping the door open to the garage ?

System one: 7kWp w/ Trina 250 W panels @90 Vdc. Classic 150 to 16-6 V U.S batteries. Trace 5548 sine wave inverter.
System two: 6kWp grid tie with solaredge inverter.
System three: Midnite Brat, two 120 W Astropower modules, 100 Ah battery. Runs the LED streetlight in the back yard.

Any interest in 2, 24v 1800w ProSine inverters? Mouse got in one and shorted a small part of board. Other one (240v version), not sure what is wrong.

Yeah, sounds interesting...
I don't pay much for these basically just keeping them out of the landfill
