Pulled pump from test tank today. 1.5 HP it is.

Onanparts " What happened?"  You seemed on a run in December!
No more access to Rosie or did you misuse use her with too many or heavy loads ?

Waiting patiently for the next installment. especially about the submersible pums as we have one of 3 different sized ( 1/3 Hp, 2 wire,  2 @ 1/2 Hp  3 wire ,and 1 3/4/Hp 3 wire)  pumps to put in the lake  for a fire protection on the house and the guest cabin ( fingers  crossed after 2 BIG fires  on the same mountain )

Naturally I would like to be able to have 2 pumps on at the same time, if and when needed !

Hopefully he responds to this but the Rosie has no problem with our submersible pump here in the caldron filled with water.

Pump Name plate is a few posts above it was 1.5hp. As for depth I think that was some where but it is like 6 feet if memory serves, Need to get them a 4-500 foot tall tower to pump water up and add some load lol

Apologies FNG, I looked at the picture quickly and   I was thinking about our when old House drilled well that started  at 60 ft , then redriiled to 150 ft,  finally the driller took us to 305 ft, and 30+ GPM.
For the new house I wasn't  thinking of a (static) cistern as in the winter we do get long periods at minus 30* F . I hope to get a smaller backup Genny in case we have a repeat of the 4 days cloud / snow and poor sleding, like the last year.
