2kw 12v system on my coach.
« on: December 21, 2021, 12:22:30 AM »
2 Midnight classic 250-cp controllers started it all.  I grabbed then off market place and designed the system from there.  it's now been over a year and the system has never blinked no matter how hard I run it.  I have 4 sunpower 250 panels in series on each controller.  That's 200+vdc running into each one.  the front 1000w is split by the AC, and the rear 1000w goes right over the rear AC.

That's a pretty sweet setup, but look at all that real estate being towed!  Lots of room for more panels there.  A good Anderson connector between the  trailer and "home" and you're  golden...more golden.

Nice job !
Though I bet it would  be nice to have  some panel racks that you can tilt when you are stationary - at least if you are every up in the north on these short days of winter.
But guessing you don't have that issue .
