Battery amps indication question classic 150

During the day, the battery amps shows up to 12 amps.  Im using less than 6 amps at night to run a 24v inverter. However, why doesnt this show as a NEGATIVE drain from the battery. Its sure not charging at night.

If you are using the Whizbang Junior add on, it measures charging and discharge current in to and out of the battery.

If you are running just the charge controller, then it only shows what that is putting out to the system AND the battery.

What are you using to read the 6 amps at night ?
