Hello all,
I am new to this forum, and as an installer of renewable energy, I LOVE MidNite's product line.
I would like to see a simple kit for a pv combiner box that would make it simple to attach it to a pole. I have imagined a piece of aluminum "C" channel (shaped like 'track' that is used in metal stud framing 1"x4"x1" in the shape of a C) that is as tall as a combiner box with 4 slots cut into the tabs (2 on each tab, near the ends) to feed 2 large hose clamps that would go around the pole. Has anyone seen anything like this?

I will discuss this with the engineer tomorrow.

Try a google search on "pole mount".  There are plenty of options out there.  I'm sure that if Midnite produces one it will be more elegant, practical, and affordable than the others.

People usually just drill through the middle embosses in the chassis and bolt it directly to the pole. No additional mounting hardware required.
