Title: Aux setting to shutdown outback vfx
Post by: mahendra on January 21, 2018, 06:23:27 AM
Hi, I need some assistance.

Can a classic (with wbjr ) aux settings be use as a switch to turn off an outback vfx inverter utilizing the vfx’s ON/Off terminals (intended for a switch).

I prefer an SOC setting from the aux but voltage will work as well.

Thanks

Yep !  Aux 1  has a relay contact perfect for this.

For voltage triggering, use the diversion or low battery disconnect depending on if you want it to turn on
or off with higher than or lower than voltage set point.

I  think that SOC% triggering is available on Aux 1 as well.

Either way, you will need to make sure the 2 jumpers are set for relay contact use rather than zero volt and 12V output.
