Which classic controller to choose

I currently have 12 Sharp ND-224UC1 panels in 4 strings of three and will be adding 12 more panels in 2011.
(224w,Voc 36.6, Vpm 29.3, Isc 8.33, Ipm 7.66, 600v max, 15a series fuse rating)
105F max and -16F min temp in my area.
I currently have 160' of #1 wire run from my current MNPV6  to my XW MPPT SCC / Xantrex XW6048.
I am currently topping out at about 52A on the output side of my XW SCC using my current 4 sets of 3 panels in while in bulk charge.

Would the best controller and string configuration to use for this setup be 8 sets of 3 panels connected to two Classic 150s?

A few questions first:
Is the 160ft one way?
Is the #1 copper or aluminum?

We need to get our voltage drop string sizing software upon the web we will soon but if you can answer those 2 questions I can do the Voltage drop calculations for you.

Quick math I come up with about a 3% drop on the #1 and 1.8% with the 2/0 cable. the VOC of the panels will be within range of the Classic 150. I suspect you would need 2 Classics though

Would I be better off putting more panels in series and going with a classic 200/250 to get the voltage up and the distance loss down?
