Hi Guys,
I recently added a seconds classic 150 to my setup. The original is happily posting data to mymidnite2. However when I try to add my new device by providing MAC Address and Device ID I keep getting a server error message popup. I haver tried this on IE and Google Chrome browsers. Any ideas as to what is going wrong?
Cheers

Your Classic may be too new to be in the database. Try PMing Andrew to get you fixed up.
Many thanks, sorry but who is Andrew and what login name does he go by?
Cheers
ATOP or Andrew@Midnitesolar.com
Can anyone point me in the right direction to get a login and setup my classic on My Midnite, have tried sending message from the register link and not getting any response.
Andrew is the DB manager, however he lives in France so he is ~ 8 hrs or so ahead of us on the west coast
I am in Australia but have been trying for 2 days mow.
Long weekend on the Common-Wealth Country's this weekend & many have been planing a break away from NOISE !
A few days ? Remember Stamps & letter writing ;)

Sorry what do you mean by commonwealth countries? Australia is one and we don't have a long weekend.
it used to be on May 24 th and called (Queen) Victoria Day now it's just the 3 rd Monday of the month (usually) and called the May Long Weekend and it marks the date after which the likelihood of a killing frost is down to near zero, at least around here it is....
There appears to be no queen's birthday long weekend this year in australia!
Devolution of the Monarchy ;D :o
and Independence next! ::)
We only patriated Constitution in 1982, 115 yrs after being made a self-governing British colony by The British North America Act of 1867...
Queens birthday for aussies is 03/10/2016, won't be long and they will have to call it independence day or something like that.
WB,
The United States bought Alaska from Russia in 1867.......we didn't write our constitution until 1959!
Little known fact.....Russia ran Alaska schools after U.S. bought Alaska until the Russian Revolution in 1915. LOL!

(Edited for iPad spelling attempts)
I did a Toast Masters course many years ago, there where 3 subjects that we where not allowed to talk about. Religion, sex and politics, I have found this to good way to avoid getting into a fight. ;)
BioPower,
I certainly didn't mean anything political about it....I was born in the "Outback" of Alaska.....very definitely not political......we just didn't have government! We had no school system! Russia continued to support the Russian communities of Alaska. Hard to conceive today.
To this day the Russian Orthodox Church has a huge presence among our native communities, far more so than any western church.
Dave
I was just joking around Dave, hence the wink.
BTW you forgot to mention anything about sex! ;D
Removed, considered offensive.
Please lets stay semi on topic here, We really need to stay out of Religion and such
Thank you

On topic again! :)
I'm having the same exact issue. Trying to add my 2 classics and after I add them, I keep getting this message "Unable to contact the server. Please Try again later". I PMed Andrew (atop) and hope that he can sort it out. Anyone else have any ideas or clues on whats going on?

You must have Firmware version 2096 for it to work if you have not done the update already.
The first thing I did before I even installed them was a firmware update and master reset.

From MyMidnite FAQ - Try pinging mymidnite2 and see what times you get.
Slow networks. The Classic does not require a high-bandwidth network connection; however, it does require a fairly low-latency one. By doing a speed test, you should be able to check the ping speed. If this is much greater than 100ms or so then you might have trouble accessing MyMidNite.
I'm getting 19mpps speed download - 136ms ping- 0.84 upload

Looks like you have a lot of latency in you connect. Midnite says you may have problems if it is over 100ms which yours is. Not sure why large latencies are a problem Andrew will have to explain that one. But you also have a slow up and download speed which they claim you don't need a high speed network. You could be at the max distance from you local telephone office which makes DSL slow.
