Title: SP600 to OutBacks Prewired GSLC with a grid bypass switch
Post by: wgollie43 on December 06, 2014, 08:27:09 AM
I have 3 of the SP600s. One is connected to my PV array. The other one I want to connect to the OutBack GSLC. Is there a wiring diagram for making this connection.
I have a Classic 150 and an epanel on that system for my workshop. wiring the SP600 to the epanel was pretty straight forword using the wiring diagram in the MNSPD-600 installation guide.

Looking at the installation manual PDF on their site, I believe you just connect up the PV SPD
to   PV TBB (PV+), Ground TBB (PV-) and the Negative Terminal Bus Bar (TBB)

I'm looking at  figure 6, page 8 here...

Also looks like their might be enough knockouts to put the SPD too, on the side maybe ?

just curios, why would the SPD 600 be used in these locations? From what I have read the it clamps down at a higher voltage than the 300, or are you grid tied three phase?
Just learning and collecting answers . :-\
