vent fan feature

hi can someone elaborate on the vent fan feature of the classic . I am contemplating on adding a vent fan but, do not want it to be on all the time so would like to know the feature of the vent fan settings(more than what the manual has,manual seems a little vague tom me

Vent fan on the aux output?

I have one of the aux outs set to vent high and voltage set at 27.0v. When the output voltage to my batteries hits 26.8 volts ... The aux outputs 12vdc which opens a relay turning on my battery box fan.

yes the aux 1 out put,what do yo have it set on "on" or "auto"?
