Has anyone managed to get the Ipad version of the local app to function properly?
I have tried it on an Ipad mini and an Ipad3. Same results.
The summary screen loads but when a Classic is selected the main display consists only of the five analogue meters. The lower display panel showing the various display options and menu buttons is completely missing.
Is this as far as porting to IOS was achieved?

Yeah -- the iOS Local App was only partly done by an employee who has since left. It really should be taken down as that was just a partly functional Alpha test version up there for some testers.

Its actually quite useful as it is, showing the main meters display
Certainly better than nothing for IOS

@dgd

I also have had no luck getting it to display on my iPad & iPhone  I am having issues with my router having the same address as my wi-fi hotspot .  I need to reassign my router a new address but cannot because it must be done online but the wi-fi hotspot interprets that as a call to it.

iPad 3rd gen 64 Gb.  MC707LL/A.    OS ver. 7.1.1 (11D201)
iPhone 4                  MD440LL/A     OS ver. 7.1.1 (11D201)

I am not giving up on this as this will be my only access to the local app. In the next few days I will get the router to talk at another address and see what the LA does on iPad & iPhone.

@Atop 8918

Please leave us some access to the app, and maybe more details on this as there is interest in using this app.  I am encouraged as dgd is getting some functionality out of this app.

I have no problem leaving it up as long as it is understood that it is "as-is" and there is no planned work on it moving forward. This thread is evidence enough, however, that we will start getting service calls for it meaning that it might prove to be more trouble for us than we can literally afford!

The Ipad version of the local app is just what I wanted. A simple monitor app with a decent display of the voltages, power and current. I have been using it now for several months.
It looked a bit squeezed on the Ipad mini but just right in Ipad 3.

Andrew
I would suggest leaving it in the App Store as a completed product.

Hearing that you have it running inspires me to push further on this. From what I have seen so far it will be a useful tool.

We will also actively look for some one (maybe a sub contractor) to bring the Local App for Android and iPhone up to completion.

Save yourself the trouble. It is an unusable app in its current state and the programmer that was working on it is apparently no long with Midnite.
