Hi

I see there is a new product, WBJr, that allows a Classic to read an extenally negative side mounted 50mA shunt.
My installation has such a shunt.

I try to figure out what exactly the Classic has for functions with this addon.

I read something about Amp-hours measured, positive and negative. I am guessing it allows for a better battery state monitoring based on total outgoing and incoming amps. I am sort of hoping there is also a parameter you can program with the banks capacity in AmpHour, so it can even show a percentage. Or (the bees knees) it can control low-bat or load-divert on Aux1 based on this percentage.

Thanks for any info.

Here is a link to the instructions.

Firmware (program) for the wonderful MidNite is always evolving.  Possibly what you are suggesting is in the future, or even under development now.

No SOC (State Of Charge) yet.

That is still in the works.

State of Charge is indeed what I want. Specifically controlling AUX1 with the SOC thresholds.

I'll not buy it yet and wait a bit then  :)

Thanks

So, what you want is an adjustable SOC threshold that when exceeded, brings the Aux 1 output high ?
