This remote system consists of 3 x 125W Conergy panels with 4 x Deka 102Ah AGM batteries and a Midnite Brat. The metal box is because the building is not always manned, and our neighbours sometimes like to take thing that do not belong to them, batteries are especially sought after. The metal box is mounted on rubber engine mounts and is kept alive by 6,000V coming from the nearby electric fence. The system supplies power to the automatic gate, two way radio and telephone system to the gate guard.

The brat is perfect for this type of small scale project - robust, easy to program and still quite powerful for its size.
a: 18 x 300W Conergy, 3 x Classic 150, 1 x Victron MultiPlus 24V / 5kW, 6 x Victron AGM 220Ah
b: 3 x 150W, 1 x Brat, 4 x Deka AGM 105Ah
c: 84 x Munchen 300W, Lorentz PS21k2 Controller, Lorentz PS21k2 submersible pump

This is a nice looking system!

One thing on the battery wiring.
It looks like the wires from The Brat are going to the same battery.
On paralleled batteries it distributes loading/charging better if the plus comes from one of the batteries at the end and the minus from the farthest battery at the other end.
