Title: Heating/air conditioning
Post by: zarathust on August 07, 2016, 07:23:39 PM
Was wondering what recommendations one would make for heating/a/c systems for off grid usage. Looking for some ideas on effecient but effective solutions for HVAC in off grid situations. Thanks.

Hi zarathust,

Mini-Split A/Cs and Heat Pumps are considered THE way to go ...

Here is a fairly long Thread on the Wind-Sun Forum:

+1 on split unit-been using them for over 15 yrs. here in Greece.
Get a dc inverter unit.
My first one was a Sharp inverter plasmacluster.
Now I also have a Inventor-7 year warranty.
So far 9 years on sharp and 6 years on inventor.
