Title: MNE125DIY-120S still available?
Post by: Saggys on April 13, 2024, 07:47:24 PM
Is it still possible to purchase a MNE125DIY-120S? I see the panel for the 24 volt model is still available.
Vendors list the MNS-11303 as a replacement? I really would like to stay with the original. Do you guys have one laying around in the back room you could part with? ::)

I'm afraid that one is no longer available.

That's what I hear anyway.

Thank you boB for the reply. Do you happen to know if the MNS-11303 is generic or kit specific? Some of the examples in the manual show specific kits for Outback and Magnum inverters with plastic conduit and enclosure covers for the exposed wiring. It would be nice if there was a cover for the exposed wiring that came with it.

What is a MNS-11303 ?   Where did you see that ?

All of our e-panels cover the wiring though.

Our MNE125STSLT is a good option it is a generic E-Panel with the AC bypass and a 125A battery breaker

Sorry boB, that must be Solarbiz's part number, you are correct FNG it is a MidNite MNE125STSLT Generic e-Panel.

I have a HF4835U80-145 (SRNE clone) which is nearly identical to the MN3548 I have with the matching E-panel. I like the MN3548 with e-panel so much, I would like to duplicate it with my other AIO for another install.

Does the MNE125STSLT e-panel conceal the wiring as well as the MNE125DIY-120S? Any pictures of a MN3548 or MN5048 installed on the MNE125STSLT?

If I buy the 200 ammp model could you just switch the 200 amp breaker for a 125 amp breaker? The dimensions of the panel are the same?

The dimensions are not the same. :-\ Looks like the width is 1-3/4" less on the 200 amp model.

If you are referring to the discontinued panels the 125 and 200 models were designed to fit the inverter so the chassis are different.

The MNE125STSLT is a generic panel so you would have to run wires from it to the DIY either in free space or in conduit

Thanks FNG, after looking at the manual for the MNE125STSLT, it looks like I would have to provide my own conduit to cover all wiring. I also noticed the LT model is narrower than the inverter so it would overhang.
