Title: My Midnite Net AH Question
Post by: openplanet on August 08, 2021, 03:37:28 PM
Here's what should be a very straightforward question for which there should be a very straightforward answer:

Is NET AH showing net amp hours as seen by the WbJr, or by the given Classic?
If the latter, why on Earth wouldn't there also be a WbJr NET AH parameter, given how useful this would be.  Yes, I know that there could be other charging sources besides the arrays, so one cannot assume that the power going into the batteries as seen by WbJr is all solar.  Nevertheless, it seems to me that WbJr NET AH would be a hugely useful parameter.  I'm hoping that is in fact what the present NET AH parameter actually is!

(Yes, this a 2 array / 2 Classic system. Unfortunately I can't get my second Classic onto MyMidnite...)

That NET AH is from the WB Jr.

That is why it is only in that menu.

Wouldn't make a lot of sense to get that figure from the Classic's internal shunt since it doesn't know where that current has been !   :)
